Fredericksburg, VA. . . .Sometimes Outdoor Shows are a lot like shopping malls. No matter what mall you go to, it will seem like you have been there before.

But that’s not the case when it comes to the upcoming Fredericksburg Outdoor Show, presented by Gander Mountain, February 8-9-10, 2008 at the Fredericksburg Expo Center, Fredericksburg, VA. This is a show that stands out above the rest.

Where else can you go and see fishing and hunting equipment, take in fishing seminars on the “Hawg Tank”, hunting and dog training seminars in the seminar room, test a kayak in the Gander Kayak Demo Pool, pick the brains of professional hunters and fisherman, book a deer hunt or deep sea fishing trip, or have a Gander archery expert test your bow in the Gander 3d Archery Zone.

Highlights of this year’s 2nd annual show include clinics with renowned goose hunter Rick Bolton, expert turkey caller Mike Puffenbarger, appearances by Gander Archery Pro Staffer Rodney Boggs, Dog Training Demos with Jack Jagoda and a special appearance on Saturday and Sunday by “The Aspirin Buster”, Frank Addington, Jr. and his razzle dazzle archery show. Addington is famous for his signature shot of shooting a baby aspirin out of the air while shooting from behind his back. If you don’t believe it, get on up to the Show – Seeing is believing.

Other daily attractions include; fishing tips at the 6,000-gallon mobile fish tank (filled with fish), a trout pond and casting contest for the kids, Gander Mountain Archery experts will be on hand to check your bow or let you test a new one, plus the numerous vendors that will have information on fishing and hunting trips, hunting and fishing equipment, maps, ATV’s, fishing boats, taxidermists, wildlife artwork, knives, maps, representatives from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries will be on hand to answer questions plus much, much more.
